Opening Prayer
God of Life, we celebrate the fulfillment of dreams as Abraham celebrated the birth of Isaac. You do come through for us! Help us not to be envious of the wonders You work in others, or be threatened that their blessings diminish mine. Save those I exile in my selfishness, insecurity and arrogance. You are so powerful! As Jesus cast the demons in self- destructive swine, cast out destructive power and sin from my attitudes. Calm me not to drown people in my insecurity and darkness. Humble me to entrust people to Your powerful embrace, knowing that You always come through!
