Prayer Intentions

St. Thérèse hears our requests and intercedes with God on our behalf. She showers us with roses every day, and we continue to be blessed and have prayers answered because of the intercession of our “little flower.”

Opening Prayer

St. Thérèse, beloved friend, we come before you in our need. We believe that you listen to us and approach God for and with us. Please accept these petitions, hopes, needs, and dreams I list below. Please present them to our Loving Father so that God may do what is best for us, for our loved ones, and for the fulfillment of God’s Kingdom. We ask you, dear friend, with the bold confidence and loving surrender you taught us. We make these prayerful petitions in the name of Jesus and through the power of His Spirit.

St. Thérèse,

I pray that you bring my requests to our Beloved Jesus. Please pray for healing within my family after the murder of my mother-in-law in a mass shooting in October 2022. The trauma has not only come from losing her, but has also woven itself into our family dynamic and caused so much strife.

I pray that each family member can speak from a place of love rather than hurt, and that we may be reminded of our earthly mother’s love through our Blessed Mother. I pray for reconciliation within our family. Please grant this if it is the will of our Savior, and if it is not yet His will, please grant us peace during this difficult time. Help me to love others, even those who have hurt me.

Dear Saint Theresa, please let Sam rest in peace. Please help me get stronger and better. Please heal me. Please don’t let me have cancer or heart trouble. Please help my two sisters and our family and friends have good health, happiness and love. Please keep everyone safe always and bring us all back to the church. Please help Sara‘s life gets stronger and better Miriam also please let Sam Buns Aunt Mary Naz, Tony, Pop Pope Francis Anthony Cami Marilyn rest in peace please help Kevin, Rose, Shelly, Jackie, Steve and myself to be well and feel well. Please help Steve get his eyesight pack. Please help my sister Lorraine feel well and be well. Brian also please help Jackie please help Buzzy thank you Saint Teresa from the bottom of my heart. Heavenly Father, with gratitude and trust, I place Amy and Gavin in Your loving care. Grant them clarity as they study, confidence in their exams, and wisdom in all their choices. Protect them, keep them healthy, and cover them with Your grace.
Lord, have mercy on us and guide our family in Jesus’ name.
Dear St. Therese, please intercede for us and watch over Amy and Gavin with your gentle care.
Please help Amy gain admission to medical school and become a good doctor, pleasing to God and others. Please help her to lose weight and remain healthy. Help Gavin become a good engineer, pleasing to God and others. Guide both children to the life partners God has prepared for them, to holy marriages, and to blessed families.
Amen.
