Back in 2017:
At that same familiar location—the U.S. Consulate General at 4 Le Duan, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City—my older sister passed her student visa interview, and the rest of the family obtained tourist visas; subsequently, she began her studies at Stanford University in the San Francisco area.
On July 1, 2026, my cousin sent a message announcing that they had passed the high school graduation exam.
