I am currently attending Confirmation classes; I was supposed to receive the sacrament this year, but it has been postponed until 2027—a year after my friend Jonathan, who is receiving his in 2026.

2 cousin Vietnam of Uncle Thai and Aunt My Lien—and the others—have all completed the three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation). My cousin My is set to receive Confirmation between late August and early September 2026. I pray Sierra stops trying to take all the hours at my job. Please watch over me St Therese. She is not sweet like you. She is a snarky teenager and she is being unfair and trying to get more hours than everyone else. I pray she applies at a different job. I pray she does not last. My job needs adults, not little girls who think they are a woman and dress inappropriately. I pray for a miracle that she works somewhere else. She was very conniving to me yesterday. And Im sick of working with her. Please St Therese, keep this mean little girl, who looks too womanly off of my work shifts. I pray that every time someone calls out, they do not call her in like they did yesterday. Please bless me Lord. I have been going through a lot. And I don't like being surprised. Back in 2017:

At that same familiar location—the U.S. Consulate General at 4 Le Duan, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City—my older sister passed her student visa interview, and the rest of the family obtained tourist visas; subsequently, she began her studies at Stanford University in the San Francisco area.

On July 1, 2026, my cousin sent a message announcing that they had passed the high school graduation exam.

Covering the 12-year period from 2014 to 2026:

The hard work my cousin put into their 12 years of schooling in Vietnam finally bore sweet, fresh fruit.

After the Grade 12 graduation results were announced, my cousin received their Vietnamese high school diploma; in California, the date was July 14, 2026. Here is the timeline of my cousin's fortunate events in 2026:

1. In February—coinciding with the 2026 Lunar New Year—my cousin was accepted into the Pharmacy program at the University at Buffalo (UB) in New York State.

2. On April 6, 2026—following Easter—my cousin in Vietnam successfully passed their student visa interview at the U.S. Consulate General (4 Le Duan, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City); the visa arrived at their home one week later.
