Opening Prayer

You are Lord of the Sabbath! You are Lord of everything and everyone! Teach us today to use Your resources as the daily bread of our lives. Humble us not to be confused or confounded by what other people think. May righteousness and legalism never blind us or bind others. In times of darkness, frailty, foolishness, and misunderstanding, continue to show Your power and presence, Lord Jesus. Pour forth Your Spirit of Wisdom that we might remain courageous, even when others make us feel foolish, weak and out of it. We need your wisdom, Lord Jesus, to remain faithful to Your good news. Our strength is in You!
