Opening Prayer
God of Joy, flood us! Sometimes we get overwhelmed by fear, anxiety, darkness and detours. We need Your uplifting presence and Your guiding hand to walk us straight through the difficulties and detours. Keep us awake and looking for dawn amid the deepest darkness. Surprise us today and break into our lives. I am looking for you! Surprise me! Surprise us! My eyes will flood with joy and my heart will embrace you.
