Opening Prayer
Jesus, was your family concerned about you, from the rumors they were hearing? Were they hurt when you said that our status, origin and connections of birth are not as important as the choices we make to love you and work for the fulfillment of your reign. Shepherd us, Brother Jesus. We need your help and guidance as we graze through the hills and valleys of our life. Pardon us for our digressions and detours. Empower us to be faithful, as you are faithful. Continue to make us your brothers and sisters, in the way we rely on your power, and treat one another. Be with us this day, Shepherd, Brother, Friend!
