Opening Prayer
Jesus, you really do listen to your Mom! Even though you did not think it was your time, you responded to the hopes and faith of the people speaking in her. Your better wine announces a new day, as we are espoused by you. We drink the new wine of Your Spirit, moving through so many gifts and ministries among Your people. Holy God, You distribute your gifts to bring about your reign. Teach me to reverence and look for the gifts of each and every person I meet. Transform me so that I do not dismiss nor diminish any of Your gifts. You call us by a new name, as You create us as Your daughters and sons – Your beloved spouse in whom You delight! May Your blazing Light and transforming Spirit turn all the tap water of our daily lives into the sparkling wine of Your presence and reign! Thank You for bathing us in the choice wine of Your Love!
