Opening Prayer
God of Life, I’m sorry for the times, like Job, when I regretted I was born or what happens in my life and choices. Teach me to trust you and the mysterious ways you walk through life with me. Humble me not to curse what I do not understand and threaten what elicits fear in me. Empower me never to feel abandoned, even when I feel alone. You are Emmanuel (God-with-us). Help me to believe that, Faithful God. In times of darkness, despair and disillusionment, enlighten me to know that you are drawing me closer to you.
