Opening Prayer

Mary, Happy Birthday! You are the special lady created by God. You are the honor of our human race. Created in grace, you raised all of us by your “yes” to God and your cooperation with the Holy Spirit. God became enfleshed in You, and you made the Holy One more available to us than we ever imagined or hoped for. Mother of Jesus, Mother of God, through you we know and have Emmanuel, God with us. Thank you for trusting God and showing us how to respond to and cooperate with God and the Divine initiative.

Just as St. Therese made her religious vows to God this day, inspire us to cooperate that Divine Love may impregnate us and our world. Happy Birthday, Mary, our Mother, our Sister, the glory of our race.
