Opening Prayer
I love riding my righteousness, Lord. It makes it so easy for me to demean and destroy others I don’t understand or am threatened by. You read the best and noblest intentions of my heart, as you read Paul’s passionate heart. Let me land gently as you knock me off my high horse and blind me with your awesome light. Help me never to reduce you to a cause, but to know you as a Person. Humble and penetrate me with your transforming light. Give me the power and passion of Paul to baptize people in your saving Word and uplift them from all that demeans, diminishes, or destroys them. Help me to be faithful to you, in the way I free and not imprison others.
