Opening Prayer
Son of God, Jesus our brother, your healing touch and presence are awesome! You healed Peter’s Mother-in-law–you healed so many others. Your miracles proclaim the freeing and healing Reign of God, where wholeness, freedom and fullness are your gift. Humble us to bring our pain and sickness to you for your healing gaze and touch. Reveal the areas of physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social and relational pain or sickness where we need healing, life and freedom. Like Paul, give us grateful hearts which remember your blessings. Count us among your saints because of the healing presence of Jesus through His Spirit within, among and beyond us. Help us, Son of God! Heal us, Jesus, our Brother!
