Opening Prayer
Jesus, there really is a price to be paid for following you. Help me to do it with a smile today. Prepare me to fend off armies of negativity, misunderstanding, and rash judgment, welling up from within me or coming at me. Make me shine today with your light. With grateful humility, let your goodness flow through me. You are the source of all good desires and achievements. Make me translucent, that you might glow within me and cast away all darkness or shadows I create. Continue to sparkle within the sky of my soul this day. Be the star of hope within and at the finish line.
