Opening Prayer
Enlighten us, God of Light! Let Your glory shine in us so that all people might know and love You. Reveal Your presence in everyone we meet. Give us the humility of John the Baptist to look for the greater. Please don’t let our inner darkness blind us to the glorious and subtle ways You live and work in others. Make me Your servant, so that my attitudes and behaviors toward Your children will proclaim that Jesus is Your Son and lives among us. We are sanctified in water! We are radiated in light! Thank you, God of Light! Let Your glory shine in us!
