Opening Prayer
Jealous God, You sparkle, tease and are inviting in Your jealousy! We feel Your call to possess us – to have all of us! I don’t know why I hold back, Lord, but I want to surrender to Your embracing arms calling me home. Dwell deep within and be the power of life for each and all of us. Show us our true home in the Jerusalem of our hearts. Help us not to condemn those we don’t understand or are jealous of. Gift us with the simplicity of children who trust You and open our arms to Your uplifting embrace. Empower us not to look down on the simple, but to learn from them. Let Your jealous love embrace and possess us, God of Faithful Love.
