Opening Prayer
Wonderful God, we are awed and humbled by your generous love. Your good news frees and ennobles us. In Christ, You have embraced the whole human experience and reconciled us with You. We celebrate and rejoice that Jesus has taken everything about us to You, making us holy, free and precious before You. He is Your good news. He is our salvation. He is the human expression of Your love. Continue to pour forth the Spirit of Jesus within and among us. Fill us with love which moves us beyond obedience into freely responding to You and Your expectations of us. May Your good news embrace and free our hearts this day. We ask You this in the name of Jesus, Your good news in our midst.
