Opening Prayer
Jesus, thank you for connecting us with God. You are the bridge. You are the power and person who speaks in us to God. Teach us to pray with dependency, trust and gratitude, believing deeply that God listens to our prayers, hearing Your voice speaking, pleading and praising within us. Give us the humility of the centurion, who is humbled that you would even consider coming so close and within. Empower us to recognize Your power beyond our powerlessness. Gentle us with faith before the mystery of your presence. We are not worthy that you should dwell within us, but we are thrilled that you have chosen to come. Heal us of disbelief, Gentle Jesus.
