Opening Prayer
I want to experience the desert blooming, especially the dry and arid lands of my life. Lord of History and God of Hope, come and calm the conflicts which divide, demean, diminish and destroy us. Bring life and joy to our struggling world. Be born in us. We are crippled and cannot walk. We need Your healing touch. Humble us when we need others to carry us to You. Fill us, Holy God of Life, that we might stand tall in our full dignity as your daughters and sons.
