Opening Prayer
Eternal and loving God, You really are our Father and our Mother. You are the womb of our existence and the nurturing, protective power of our lives. The heart of Your betrothal covenant with us is that we love You with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength and teach others to do likewise. Make us grateful for all that You have done for us, not because we are worthy, but because You love us! Empower us to be wholehearted in our trust and love of You and one another. Let Your uplifting and healing power work through us because of our passionate faith. Save us from thinking we do it all ourselves. You are the Faithful God of love and nothing is impossible for You! Let our hearts burn with just a glimmer of the love You have for us!
