Happy Birthday to my mom in heaven today. St Theresa, I ask for help with my oldest. I know I made mistakes but I don’t understand how she sees her father who is a violent and a raging alcoholic but can’t be around me who is neither of those things. Her father who believes he is fine the way he is, and me who works at being better and changing. I don’t understand and it’s incredibly painful. I had hoped this year might usher in the change I have been praying for but her conversation with her sister indicates that that is not going to happen. She hates my sister in law and I don’t blame her, I hate her too. But please don’t let me be part of that punishment.
