St. Therese made it her mission to intercede for us while she was on earth as well as in heaven. The Communion of Saints stand ready to intervene on our behalf so that we and those for whom we pray may be brought into God’s everlasting light.
All Souls Day is a time to humbly ask God to embrace the souls of those who have gone before us in faith. Take time to collect the names of your loved ones and submit them below for remembrance in the Carmelites All Souls Day Mass on November 2nd and the remainder of the month.
For each submission, we will add a colored disc to form a St. Therese stained glass window. This piece of art will be blessed at the All Souls Day Mass and placed in the National Shrine Museum of St. Therese as a way honor your friends and loved ones.
“The world is thy ship and not thy home.”
-St. Therese of Lisieux
Your All Souls Day donations support the education and ministries of the Carmelites who spread the Gospel of God’s love throughout the world. Your generosity enables these holy men and women to proclaim God’s merciful love to people struggling in poverty, ignorance, violence, disease and hunger.
Let your All Souls remembrances draw you even closer to God, St. Therese, and all of the angels and saints that intercede on behalf of each soul. May you be soothed by them and by the memories of your dearly departed loved ones for whom we pray.
