Healing Jesus, sometimes we are so blind! We need a double touch of your healing to correct the vision of our heart. So many angry voices of disappointment and cynicism harden my heart and distort my vision. I look into the mirror and no longer see you nor myself as your image. I'm imprisoned by expectations and perceptions. Free my soul. Speak your word of justice to the darkness of my deceitful and doubting heart. Heal the cataracts of my self-serving sight. Open my eyes to see sharply and watch carefully, so that I can see you working, acting, and living in all the people and experiences of my life. Heal my blindness, Jesus, Light of God!
