My mother had great devotion to The Little Flower and used to make a regular novena. I remember her being delighted when during the time of the novena she received a rose often from a most unexpected source. It was often an actual rose but a picture of a rose on a card for example sufficed for her to say that she knew her prayer would be answered. the prayer I remember most was "Little Theresa, Little Theresa, Little Theresa I come with a whispered prayer, Little Theresa . Little Theresa, Little Theresa Have you a rose to spare? No pale bud do I ask of you, But a rose that is wondrous fair Little Theresa, Little Theresa, Little Theresa. Have you a rose to spare? Too little your hands to hold them all, You are dropping them everywhere, Little Theresa , Little Theresa, Little Theresa. Have you a rose to spare?"

Dear Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus- As I pray for having a good husband and children ,when I was about to give up that same week when I finised my novena, I was handed a RED ROSE unexpected and I knew that was your message letting me know that my prayers have been answered and for me not to give up- when I was about to give up. Thank you Saint Theresa for the rose you gave me ! I am waiting patiently for my own family with a good husband and health children.
