“Daily I pray for all consecrated souls especially all missionaries, all souls in purgatory especially our family, a whole list of people who have asked me to pray for them and all Christians who have died violent deaths as a result of their faith, peace in the world. I love St. Therese and pray for her intercession and always receive some intimation of her presence, with most grateful thanks. God bless all Carmelites who I remember especially as my Dad was born on the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and whose scapular all of us siblings wear with love.”

“I wrote a grant for a friend who has a non profit that helps children. She needed to have a logo, letters of donation, and help with grant writing so that she can get more help.”

I will be their caregiver for the summer, I am trying to cozy up their cottage so he can have lots of respite, I pray for my mind to open up to enable me to help her. I love reaching out to the elderly with love and respect; we have much to learn from them.”

“During my daily rosaries, I prayed fervently for the safe return of the kidnapped girls in Nigeria, for peace throughout the world, for the conversion of sinners. I prayed to St. Therese and St. Padre Pio to pray for us. ”

“It wasn't me, but my grandson Anthony. I texted him to tell him a show on TV we both like was funny. He texted me back to tell me to come over and watch it with him. I did. When I got there we were sitting on the couch and he brought us blankets and he snuggled up to me. After we watched a few shows, he went upstairs to his room while I hung out with the other kids for a while. When I was leaving, I went up to say good-night to him. I told him I loved him, good night and gave him a hug. He told me how he loves when I come over. At 11 years old to say that to me when he sees me very often, it just means so very much to me as his grandmother. He loves spending time with me and I feel very blessed to have him in our lives. To me, this was an act of kindness that came straight from his heart without thinking and that's the very best. ”

“Today I am feeling sad and alone. I decided to visit my grandma who is in the nursing home and spend time with her. I also wrote on playing cards 52 things I am grateful for. This act of kindness turned out to be and act of kindness to me. Though life is not perfect there are many things to be grateful for like that I don't have a life threatening sickness or I have clean water and a place to live. If we try to bring happiness to others we can feel happiness in our hearts. My grandma used to say that. Life isn't fair and it is short. We can sit and cry and be miserable or make the most of each day. I am going to visit Grandma more often.”

“My dad has been recently diagnosed with lung cancer. My parents don't tell me everything, and I'm not sure if I want to know either. My parents are also having a bit of financial problems. On top of everything, I am under the stress of school and daily life. Nevertheless, I'm thankful that I get to spend today and hopefully more days with my loved ones and friends. I don't like serious things very much, and I always try to detract when in a serious scenarios. I'd like to think that my little act of kindness is my trying to make others laugh a little and at least momentarily lessen the heaviness of a situation by making someone laugh and make a joke and help lighten up someone's mood. I don't know if this counts as an act of kindness, but I pretty much bottle up all my feelings and emotions and thought this would be a good way to release some of that stuff. If you happened to read this, thank you for you time, and may God bless you and I hope you have a fun, blessed, and happy day! Always stay positive! :)”
