Little Flower Suncatcher
Dear Friend of the Little Flower,
There are times when we need sunshine to brighten our spirit, lift our mood, and connect us with light again.
Sometimes the smallest thing can grab our attention and we see the light. We know the truth again - that we are the beloved daughters and sons of God - children of light!
In cloudy times of confusion, pain, and disappointment, a gentle ray of sunshine means so much.
Signs wake us up and remind us that the sun is always shining. We are where God wants us to be - in joy and in challenge. God is present in every person and situation of our life. Our faith needs to catch the sunbeams.
The Little Flower always wants us to see the holiness of every moment and person. Sunlight is everywhere, if we only look and see with the eyes of faith.
For this reason, I am offering you this specially designed St. Therese Suncatcher. When you place it in on your window she will remind you of the light of presence. She will invite you to allow the divine presence and light moments of your day.
St. Therese, even in dark times, saw light. She wants us to see that light of faith.
All I ask is that you allow the light to radiate through you to others. The Little Flower was and is a light to so many. So many people live in clouds of poverty, ignorance, disease, hunger and violence. You can be a light to others by praying for them - holding them in your heart - and making a sacrificial donation to the Carmelites, through the Society of the Little Flower.
Your prayers and generosity make a difference in people's lives. You share the light and help them appreciate the good news that they are also God's beloved daughters and sons. You can be the suncatcher of the Gospel's light.
Make a difference! Allow the Little Flower to help you catch the light - to uplift you. Be a suncatcher of light to others!
Thank you for the light of hope you are to so many - and to the Carmelites. You really do brighten my soul.
God bless you,

Fr. Bob Colaresi, O.Carm.
