St. Therese Feast Day

Dear Friend of St. Therese,

You and I know we are beloved by God and His special friend, St. Therese. Her intercession is incredible!

On October 1st,  we are celebrating the 113th anniversary of the Little Flower's entrance into heaven. It will begin with a Novena of Masses on September 22nd, and continue until her Feast Day, October 1st.

As this wonderful heavenly birthday celebration approaches, I warmly invite you to celebrate her Feast Day with us in several ways.

The Feast Day Celebration will be held at the National Shrine in Darien, IL, beginning at 9:30am. If you would like more information on attending this very special celebration and experience, please call our toll free number 1-800-621-2806 or e-mail feastday@littleflower.org.

As we have also done for several years to celebrate her Feast Day, we are creating a Prayer Banner of your intentions. The banners of previous years are powerful symbols of your faith. Your petitions and faith are woven into those beautiful banners hanging in her National Shrine all year. It is a wonderful tradition we are continuing.

Please help create this banner of faith, love, and prayers. Forward the petitions closest to your heart in the area below no later than August 17th, 2010 to ensure they will be woven together onto the banner.

St. Therese always loved celebrations. We believe she especially enjoys her Feast Day, celebrating her entrance into the fullness of life that was and is her home.

If you cannot attend physically, join us spiritually in prayer and know that your intentions and devotion are part of this huge tapestry of faith, family, friends, prayer, passion and love. 

Let us make this a wholehearted celebration of faith and love. Let the new passionate red and purity white Prayer Banner proudly proclaim our trust in her intercession.
