10:00 a.m. – Stations of the Cross at the Meditation Garden
11:00 a.m. – Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
12:15 p.m. – “Therese and the Cross” Talk at the National Shrine Museum of St. Therese

Join our Family of Faith as we relive the Passion of Christ during Lent walking the Stations of the Cross together in the Meditation Garden located next to the Carmelite Spiritual Center, 8419 Bailey Rd., Darien, IL 60561

Spring: Walk with Jesus - Lenten Stations of the Cross

Reflect on Jesus’s death and glorious resurrection with our family of faith during the Lenten Season. Walk the Stations of the Cross in the Meditation Garden at the Carmelite Campus in Darien. After your walk with Jesus, join us for Mass.  

This event occurs on the Friday before Palm Sunday each year.

Summer: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast Day

Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a talk on Our Lady of Mount Carmel and her influence on Carmelite spirituality, followed by a prayerful procession of her statue around the Meditation Garden and Mass.  

This event occurs either on the Friday preceding or following July 19.

Fall: St. Therese of Lisieux Feast Day

Join the celebration of our Little Flower’s Feast Day with Rose blessings, Mass, veneration of St. Therese’s Relics, and a short talk with lunch available for purchase.  

This event occurs on October 1 in Darien, IL.

Winter: Christmas at the Crib

Gather your family at the manger for a heartwarming and faith-filled celebration. Enjoy cookies and cocoa, learn about St. Therese’s Christmas conversion, hear the story of Jesus’ birth and end with the celebration of Mass.

This event occurs in early to mid-December.
